Please sit quietly before program starts.

The gong sounds the arrival of our teacher.
Stand when the teacher enters or leaves the room. To show respect for the teacher and the teachings, many people place both hands together and bow.
Some people do prostrations to help remind us of this precious opportunity.

Please do not place Dharma books, meditation texts, or prayer beads on the floor.

Sit quietly during meditation period. It is OK to shift your position if you become uncomfortable.

It is also OK to leave the shrine room anytime during the program.
