The fifth householder precept is “to refrain from intoxicating substances.”
Lion’s Roar Dharma Center provides help to those people who struggle with alcoholism and other addictions. We hold “A Day of Mindful Recovery” from time to time. We have Sangha members who have undergone a 12-step recovery process and are willing to act as sponsors.
Substance abuse professionals affiliated with Lion’s Roar Dharma Center can offer services at a reasonable fee.
